Surfs up dude

I never surfed until I was about 20.

Me and some friends went down to a place in South West England called Newquay. With our pasty untainned bodies we decided that we were going on a surfing holiday. I knew it would be a good idea for me to look into surfing lessons if I was to avoid getting killed by the wrath of the ocean.

Needless to say I looked at surfing schools and managed to find a great teacher to help teach me.

I didn't spend much time in lessons and never learned to surf at a great level. But I did surf and I loved it. I will surf again one day.

I wish I had started as a young kid. I would be amazing now. If I ever have kids I will send them to a surf camp to learn to surf. I wish my parents had.

WbSurfCamp.com offers great camps for kids, teens and adults wishing to learn how to surf. Honestly it is well worth it. More than just getting wet, you feel amazing riding with the wave and returning to shore. It's a great physical activity and you will not be disappointed. Granted, it can be slightly scary at times.
