Keep pesky bed bugs out of your mattress!

I thought I had bed bugs early in the year as was getting some insect bites in my sleep. So I frantically did lots of research, cleaning and general panicking. I never did find any signs of them and can only assume it was either spiders or millipedes as they were the only insects I was seeing around!

However all the research did make me much more aware of the potential problems of bed bugs and how once you have them it's incredibly hard to get rid of them, especially if they get into furniture or your beloved mattress!

One way to really help protect your mattress from infestation is by using an allergy mattress covers. It will stop them nesting inside your mattress and as an added bonus help protect against dust mites and other annoyances!

There are also other things you can do such as put Neem oil around your bed posts and just generally keep your room as clean as possible. Also be extremely careful with used furniture, sometimes they can be brought in with things like this!

Don't Forget Travel Insurance!

I have done a lot of travel in the last few years and it's often the case that you get the perfect flight, perfect connections and great prices on places to stay. You are all set and then....... you remember you forgot to order travel insurance!

I am quite a budget traveler so always try and find good but cheap travel insurance that will cover me in the most likely situations.

I don't look for millions in compensation for a broken leg and things like that but do look for solid cash amounts and low payments for cashing in on the policy.

Need a TV Stand?

I lived for a long time in a house with some other guys and we used to have our little TV on an upturned box! Not the most aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture but for our simple lifestyle it suited the purpose perfectly.

Now I am a little older, living with my partner, an upturned box just does not cut it! So we have a nice tv stand for our flat screen LCD TV.

TV stands do add a touch of class to these awesome looking TV's and also offer some good storage space. In ours we store an xbox and then some hidden cables and a few bits like space batteries and things just so that that are to hand.

You can also consider a space saving wall mount and these can also have some storage space too.

Upgrading System Memory Does Wonders

If you computer seems a little slow at times, especially if you have multiple programs and browser windows open then you may be thinking about getting a new computer.

However most times this is not needed (unless you have a dinosaur of a machine). Many people don't realize that a simple upgrade of their system memory will give their flailing machine a new lease of life and you could feel like you have a new computer!

I do have a new computer now but I lengthened the life of my last one by a good year or so just by upgrading the memory. Things that I felt were too slow were suddenly fine and my productivity definitely increased by a lot.

When is drug rehabilitation needed?

When you, a close friend or a family member are becoming dangerously addicted to a substance it is time to take action.

It may be time for drug rehab, professionals deal with people who have stepped over the edge and can really do a lot to help you, your friend or your family.

You have to listen to your friends if they are telling you there is a problem. It could be with legal drugs such as alcohol or illegal substances. It does not matter how you reached this point, it matters more that you understand that it needs to stop and you are the only one that can help yourself. Do you need cleansing?

I have read about getting a colon cleanse and it does scare me a little. However I think my fears are unjustified and the idea of getting your insides cleaned out is actually a really good one.

Many people report feeling great, rejuvenated and free of toxins after a cleanse and I must say if these testimonies are true that I really like the idea and I am seriously considering trying it one day.

Would you use an appetite suppressant?

I don't know a lot about how an appetite suppressant scientifically works but I understand the basic idea behind it.

By suppressing your appetite you can basically make your body want to eat less... Of course if you want to then you still may eat more even though you don't feel like eating more. It's not a solve all for all situations.

So would you or are you using them?

I don't think I need to but if I became very obese and felt I needed help then I would consider looking into them and reading up reviews and research to see if they could give me the helping hand that I needed to get the situation back under control.

The time of giving, just what you may need for your business....

One thing about this time of year is that loads of things are handed out. You buy something at a store and you may get some leaflets and all sorts. Everyone is walking around with bags of stuff.

Now one thing I always notice is what it says on these bags, it could be a store name, advertising an event or a business name..... bags are a great way to get a message across.

So why not look at the idea of getting some promotional bags for your company or service and either hand them out to customers or give them to a bunch of small stores for free to use in place of current bags.

Get your stuff moved cross country...

Being from the UK I really realized that I had absolutely no spacial awareness until i started spending time in USA. Sometimes simply going to the store is an epic adventure.... So I can only imagine what kind of adventure moving cross country must be!

Even organizing yourself to get to your new residence could be hard enough, let alone getting all your stuff there with you. Luckily if you start planning well there are people to help you with that kind of thing. These cross country movers charge pretty reasonable prices and professionally get your things to new destinations without you needing to stress. Pretty neat...

Where to get exam tables...

I was at the dentist today, regrettably! But laying there I was wondering where does all the equipment come from?

Medical professionals have to get a hold of all sorts of high quality highly specialized equipment including exam tables, medical supplies and special machines.

So where do they get them from? Well like everything there are huge companies that deal with this stuff and this stuff only. They are often multinational as this stuff is important but not as in demand as say dining room chairs!

When you set up a business it's important that you work out a way to accept payment in as many forms as possible. If you do not then you may have customers that want to access your services or goods but are unable to.

One thing you have to accept is credit cards. A decent company providing merchant services can set you up to accept all the payments you need and really help make your business accessible.

It's worth spending on decent office furniture

I am looking at possibly setting up an office at home. I don't really think the kitchen table is doing my business much good.

Choosing the right office furniture is important for creating the right working environment. I have worked in offices that have ben assembled from old furniture around the building and they never work for good productive environments.

You need to choose things that are comfortable and will help you be productive.

I don't know much about shoes but I do know that if there is anything that almost any woman needs to be happy.... It is multiple pairs of shoes, sometimes 10,20 or 30 pairs!

I myself actually used to be a little like that with sneakers but these days I tend to have one pair for day to day and one pair for sports.

Dark Circles.... Are they a problem?

I have not been sleeping the best in recent weeks and my eyes are looking a bit worse for wear because of it! I'm hoping that resuming a normal sleep pattern will help out somewhat but I it's possible the dreaded dark circles will not go away. I am not that vein about my appearance but don't like to look tired or unhealthy. Maybe I should consider eye cream for dark circles, ha ha. If the issue gets worse then I may seriously start thinking about it. My poor negelected skin probably needs some love.

Do you have wrinkles yet?

I'm not yet 30 but am seeing a few signs of aging. It's harder to keep slim now, I creak a little morning the mornings and general flexibility is much worse.... oh and I can see some wrinkles forming!

I don't mind too much about these wrinkles as don't consider my beauty as very high anyway and just want to stay healthy. But for many it's a huge issue and the use of wrinkle cream is helping them keep things under control.

Saying that my partner does bother me to start moisturizing my skin so maybe I should start paying more attention!

Do you suffer from acne?

I thankfully have not suffered from acne since I was in my teens and back then it never got too bad. However in her 30's a friend of mine is still suffering with small outbreaks here and there. She absolutely hates it but has recently found some acne products that are working for her and reducing the issue.

I don't see it as a problem but I know she was feeling very emabarresed to turn out in public and was wearing a lot of scarves and things to try and cover her jaw line. Makes me sad :(.

Anyway she is nearly clear now and it seems to be working well for her.

Working out at home, what do you need?

I recently started working out at home and I must say it's been awesome. I am following an intense program and am on day 17 of 90. It's hard but well worthwhile.

When I started this program I had no equipment so I had to shell out a little hard earned cash and get some fitness equipment. However it cost me less than a few months membership at the gym and now it's mine for life!

I only had to get some free weights, a mat and a chin up bar for what I am doing so far but would love a treadmill and some machines for controlled movement.

What is Phenocal

Well phenocal is another one of the many diet pills on today's crowded market.

It's made up of some of the popular pill ingredients such as Hoodia and Yerba Mate.

I know Yerba Mate is great. I drink it as tea and love the clean caffeine kick it gives me. However Hoodia is yet to be officially studied (I believe) so I am unsure how affective these Phenocal pills would be and at this point have no intention on trying them.

I suggest you do talk to a health professional before trying anything like this but if you have tried it then I would be interested in finding out how it worked for you.

What is the best diet supplement?

I be honest I have no idea about which is the best diet supplement. I know that for many people dieting is hard work so the thought of using a supplement appeals to them and in these cases I think it's important to be honest with yourself and make sure you need it.

If you really think you do, then talk to your doctor or a health professional. Try and stick with all natural products and make sure you read reviews of these products from other genuine users.

I have just started an intense fitness plan that I trust and they recommend quite a few dietry supplements.

Remember how important the light fixtures are...

I have talked about this a few times before. When setting up the design of rooms in your home the lighting fixtures are probably one of the most important things. They accent and detail the room. These details can bring an ok design into being an amazing design.

I personally like the clean modern look. So a nice metal finish works great, no fancy symbols or shapes, just clean solid lines with a high quality finish.

What kind of fixtures would you go for in your home, office or wherever?

HID LIghts, practical and they look awesome..

Have you seen the latest hid lights that you can get for your vehicle now? They are basically very powerful headlamps that give off a brilliant light making it a lot easier to drive around at night. Plus the light is sharp, clean and just looks great bursting out from the front of your car, truck, motorbike or whatever you install it on!

I don't currently own a car but would definitely look into these for safety, help with seeing at night and the fact that they look awesome.

I would love to go to florida

Have you ever been to Orlando, Florida? I have not but it is something that I am sure I would love. For me it's universal studies that I would like to see, not particularly the Disney stuff.

Looking at orlando vacations though it's clear that there is much more than just theme parks. They have fantastic hotels, great weather and beaches to boot.

Do you need a walk in tub?

The great thing about walk in tubs is that they allow those with problems getting into a regular tub the ability to have long soothing, relaxing baths.

Often the people who have trouble getting into a regular tbu are the ones who get the most benefit from having baths over showers. Joints and aches respond well to warm relaxaton.

W walk in tub works in an odd way obviously due to the fact that it needs to fill with water. First you have to open the door and get in, then you have to run the taps. Then you have to wait for the water to full drain before opening the door to get out. So make sure you have everything you need when you get it!

A Rain Barrel Is An Excellent Idea

If you are looking to be more environmentally friendly and possibly lower you water bill then you should consider getting a couple of rain barrels to put outside. Harvesting the rain saves you having to turn on the taps to provide water for your plants and garden. You could even use it to wipe over your car or anything else you can think of that uses water.

This also saves water from going through treatment and all in all reduces large footprints.

Would you use diet pills?

I don't think I would ever use diet pills. I don't feel overweight by much and also feel that any pounds that I have hanging around are my own doing and can be pretty easily reversed.

However there are a lot of people who do feel they have tried everything and as long as a doctor says it's safe I guess I can't see a problem with giving some kind of appetite suppressant a try. A lot of obesity is caused literally by an addiction to food so you may also need to get some mental health help too.

That's what i think anyway. What do you think?

How do buildings go up so fast....

One thing that seems to have changed a lot since I was a child is the speed that new building can be erected. These days its seems like a new retail park or set of office buildings can literally just spring up from a pile of wasteland!

Of course it still takes a lot of work but building contractors make use of awesome new technology and pre fabricated parts such as steel buildings to build sturdy, strong and affordable structures that can be used for almost any application.

This buildings used to look awful but they have also been given great new design touches now and some look really really nice.

Thinking of getting a degree online

My partner Lara is studying her masters and almost everyone I know has some university qualifications, except me. So I am seriously considering getting an online degree. I have been looking at the this because it would still allow me to travel like I currently do and work at my own pace.

I could also get a degree from the USA or UK which is where I would like to study if I was going to uni. This is one of the main advantages of online universities.

One of the places that I could look at getting an online degree from is Western Governors Online University. They have a very nice looking website and offer course in many areas from Teacher training to business training at bachelor's and master's degree levels.

The idea of being a teacher is interesting to me and WGO are fully accredited getting teaching qualifications from them is just as valid as getting the qualifications from any other university.

They also take experience into consideration when giving you credits and are non-profit which means that you should find lower tuition fees.

I can only see benefits with getting an online education. The only small negative I can find is the lack of class mates face to face interaction but that could be good too as it keeps you away from the student bars!

Have you checked your furnace filter?

If you have not checked your furnace filters for a month or so, or worse since last winter then it's about time that you do so. Any filters that are dirty should be cleaned well (I use soapy water) and any that are past their usage should be replaced immediately.

These filters help control the quality of the warm air entering out homes and protect you from dust related ailments. Also by allowing the furnace to operate at it's best you will find your bills will actually start to drop too!

Porcelain Kitchen Sink...

My new apartment has a porcelain kitchen sink that is deep and rectangular. It looks cool, is extremely practical, easy to keep clean and overall just very practical. If I ever move to a new apartment I will look at buying a kitchen sink just like this one again.

However there are tons of different sink designs available and I guess it does depend on the design of the kitchen but I just love this sink!

What kind of sink do you have and are you looking at changing it any time soon?

Buy Xbox 360 Console

I have an xbox 360 and even lugged it with me around the world as they are so awesome. It is not solely a games playing system. It also plays music, videos and more. I can also sync podcasts and use extra software to watch youtube videos through my TV.... Pure amazing!

If you are looking to buy an xbox 360 console then I say it's a fantastic investment for all the reasons I mentioned above and that's not even talking about the amazing games!

Glass Wall Tiles

I really like the glass wall tiles that you can get as back splash protectors for the kitchen and bathroom. They were originally a functional item but like any home decor you can now get the glass tiles in an almost endless variety of designs to suit any kitchen or bathroom layout.

You can get large glass tiles or little tiny ones and they are easily applied to your wall to stop the water getting into the plaster and ruining your walls.

What color and back splash designs do you like the most?

Portable Barcode Scanner...

I know it's silly but I am memorized with the portable barcode scanner that you see in use at the supermarket. I like the little laser beam that scans the items and it still boggles me how it can read something from some black printed lines.

The technology is pretty old now and could be seen as low tech. But it's still in use so obviously just one of those brilliantly simple idea that is yet to be eclipsed by microchips and such things. Although I have no doubts they are working on phasing the technology out in pursuit of more cash.

Anyway for now barcodes and barcode scanners rule and I think they are great! Next time you are at the supermarket just take a look at the portable barcode scanner and you will realize how cool it is!

Would you try weight loss supplements?

I am lucky that I have never been so overweight to be in the position to think about trying weight loss supplements. But I can understand that a point comes where you just want to do something about your ever growing issue!

Weight Loss Supplements can be chemical, natural or a mix so you should investigate very carefully and read as many reviews as possible. Also try trusted brands and make sure that none of the ingredients cause allergy problems for you.

The supplements may be just what you need but be sure before diving in.

Are Ellipticals any good?

In short my answer to that question would be, definitely, yes, the elliptical is awesome!

The elliptical is that machine in the gym that looks like a step machine but also has two moving arm parts. It's an amazing exerise machine if done right and provides high quality low-impact cardio.

I used the Elliptical first when I had a bad knee and I needed some low impact exercise but since then I use it regular and it's helped vary my routine and now I would consider getting one at home.

Are you looking for a Plasma TV?

I have a just moved into a new apartment and purchased a little LCD TV. It's absolutely great but obviously like anyone who loves watching movies and playing video games one day I am aiming to go to the store, look at the plasma tvs and come home with one.

The future of hi-def gaming, movies and television means that the quality available to us daily is superb and it's a shame to not be taking advantage of these options.

I have not ever had a colon cleanse but often have been hearing of the benefits of such a thing. Apparently a colon cleanse can remove toxins, make you feel healhier and some people think younger too. Looking for the best colon cleanse is worth while too. You want to make sure you don't get a half a*sed job done! Excuse the pun and the bad language but i hope you know what I mean.

Myrtle Beach, a great vacation destination.

I have never been to Myrtle Beach, SC myself but I have certainly heard plenty about it. One thing I do know is that it is beautiful and full of sand, sun and life.... A great place for you and the family to vacation this year or any year!

Hopefully when I make it back to the states at some point I can make sure that Myrtle Beach is on my "to go" list and i'll check out the Myrtle beach vacation rentals to stay a few days.

I love beaches and I love idyllic locations. This area looks like it has it all....

Do you need an apetitie suppressant?

If you are having real trouble with the battle of the bulge and have tried everything from exercise to dieting then you may still just be eating too much!

That's where an appetite suppressant could possible help you out. I have never personally used them but the science behind them is supposed to be pretty hi tech, albeit a simple aim in mind.

If you eat less calories throughout the day than your body burns then theoretically you will start to lose weight.

Little Touches Count - Look To The Light...

When styleing your home you need to look at the little details as well as things like wall color and big furniture pieces.

The small finishing touches and details make a home ooze the quality you want and makes it feel cozy and truly yours. In particular you should pay attention to the light fixtures as these are actually something that more people notice than you think!

I like to have modern designs but do think that classic and art deco look cool too if it compliments the surrounding style.

Whenever I buy anything I like to do something to make it my own. My laptop has stickers on it, as does my xbox 360 and pretty much everything i own has been modified slightly.

So when I do get round to getting a car that will need some modification too. Noting majorly over the top. Just some nice furry dice and maybe some chrome accessories to jazz it up a little.

How Cool Would Glass Tiles Be?

I have just moved into a new place and for the most part it's pretty good. The bathroom has recently been re-tiled and looks nice however I think it would have looked awesome if it had been done with little glass tile pieces.

I could possible get a hold of some and lay them myself as they can be found a pretty reasonable prices.

How and where would you use these little glass tiles?

Darn spots!

I have been in a pretty hot climate recently and my skin has been getting sweaty and dirty. As a result my pores are getting clogged and I am getting some spots, particularily irritating blackheads.

I could spend all day pooping them, which is fun, but I may ruin my skin and face so I think it's time I look at another method.

You can get a hold of a blackhead remover that will do the job and help get rid of most blackheads on your face.

This way you keep you skin clean and fairly undamaged.

Where and how to place your flatscreen Tv?

I have talked a few times recently about the wish to get a new flat panel LCD TV.... And I am moving very soon so I am actually going to have to get one. Buy.com have some awesome TV's at great prices but something else that may be essential is a flat panel mount so that the new TV can be mounted onto a wall, looking really cool and saving a whole bunch of space.

Would you own a drop leaf table?

A drop leaf table is a clever device which I am sure you have all seen. It's small table with two flaps on the side. When needed the flaps can be lifted up and fixed in place to make a larger table, often dining size.

This makes for all kinds of practicalities including space saving, money saving and much more.

Summer is here, get out the patio furniture

Summer is awesome and I personally think it's best to spend as much time as possible outside. So it's well wort getting some snazzy new patio furniture so that you can start treating your garden like an outside living space.

The garden is a great place to cook, eat, drink, relax, play and do everything. With a little shade from your patio umbrella you can even spend the day outside doing your work.

Being outside is healthy too!

Do you get Public Speaking Anxiety?

I personally can't speak very well in public. I start fumbling my words, speaking really quietly and just can't really hold it together. And when i say public.... that could mean 5 or more people!!

I could be suffering from public speaking anxiety although I have never viewed it as that serious. When I think about it.... It may have caused me problems is interviews, meetings with clients and general furthering of life and work related activities!

So I guess it should be something that we all should pay attention too and consider help for it it's causing any distraction or problems.

Stero Cabinet, Important to have a nice one!

I love music, and when I settle it's important for me to make sure that I get a really nice stereo cabinet and a decent stereo so that I can enjoy looking at the device that gives me so much pleasure!

I really like the clean and modern look that a lot of furniture displays now, however for me I would probably still choose rustic wood style over anything. It just depends on the room around it and you never know, I may end up with a stereo in every room!

Need new Furniture....

I have just packed up my life again, I own pretty much nothing except clothes and paperwork right now. So next time I settle I will need to buy a lot of new furniture.

This is always expensive and you obviously want good quality stuff. Next time I do start buying though I have one thing on my side.... That is the Internet. The net has drastically increased competition and prices have dropped on the net to meet demand. Also you can shop straight to the manufacturers and cut out expensive showrooms and middlemen. Stores like Boyles.com have an awesome high quality selection at great prices.

Do you need a seat lift for independence?

I am staying at a house right now where the grandma of the family also lives. She is in a wheelchair and thanks to much technology still manages to live a very independent life.

Saldy though you do see many problems when you go downtown and places are not correctly set up to deal with people who cannot walk or have mobility problems.

There is not much you can do about this without protest or reform of the law... However if you have mobility issues, you can make your or your loved ones lives much better by getting important accessories such as seat lifts to help mobility around the home.

Camcorders are now very affordable....

I wanted a camcorder badly for much of my childhood but they were expensive. Then digital camcorders came along and things started to get more in reach.

However I still had to save up quite a lot of cash for my first digital camcorder and it was rather grainy and slow to use. At 17 though I was introduced to digital movie making.

These days an amazing camcorder can be picked up at a very reasonable and for most people, affordable price. The features are awesome with great zooms, bundled editing software and more than most casual users will ever be able to use.

I think I would have a glass faucet..

I have been traveling the last few days from Vermont down to Pennsylvania and Washington. I have had a great trip and have seen a lot of bathrooms... Including in the two nice hotels I stayed in.

I love the nice bowle shapped elegant and simple faucets that you can find in nice hotels. Expensive but worthwhile for style and comfort.

Rubber Stamps, what would you use them for?

I had a small obsession with rubber stamps when I was young and loved the idea of ordering a unhc of stamps for anything.... Now a little older I am no longer obsessed but certainly know that they are useful little things to have around the office or anywhere in your business.

You can use rubber stamps for a million things but one thing I realy like it for signing off work and makring it approved with a date.

Lots of things can go wrong in your day to day life. Especially when you don't expect. The sad fact is that you could have a serious accident any day at any time and if you are not insured you may find your times ahead very difficult. I'd like to restyle my kitchen....

When you look around your home I am sure there are things that you would like to improve. For many of us the kitchen is a place that a lot of time is spent.

I love cooking and would love to install a nice rustic feel including old style farmhouse sinks, wooden cabinets, clean sides and much much more.

It definitely would push me to get more dinner parties organized and bring more people over. that way I would have great excuses to cook, eat and drink with my best friends.

My teeth need fixing, I have six cavities and probably need a good clean. However they are in good shape as far as cosmetics go. If my teeth got bad then I would need to consider finding a good Plano Dentist in my area that could sort my cosmetic dental needs.

I don't like the idea of needing to change things with my body but bent teeth sadly really do change people's first impressions of you. I don't ever want super straight big shiny white Donny Osmond teeth though!

Are you overwhelmed with spiders?

I live in a basement room and sometimes we get a lot of spiders. The big downside of this that it attracts lots of spider eating centipedes and these buggers are nasty looking!

So some spider traps could well cut down the spider population and cut down these centipedes for me!

I don't mind spiders too much but they can be hard to keep cleaning their webs and in the summer months I hate getting spider bites whilst sleeping. Plus.... you have more chance of eating them in your sleep!

I need new light fixtures....

Looking at my house, things are a bit worn and need updating. When planning a big decorating project it's easy to forget about the little details but the little details are something that can really make a home zing with class.

So I must not, and you must not forget the light fixtures. These are highly important. There are so many options available for classic and modern homes so that you can compliment any look that you want.

Holidays in Orlando

I would love to go to Florida and have taken a look at Orlando vacations. Orlando has some amazing theme parks and I would love o tour all of them as well as see the city and local tourist sites.

I would love especially to go Universal Studios and go on the Back To The Future ride. I love BTTF I, II and III. Also the Jaws ride looks amazing.

Disney isn't so much of a priority for me but it would still be great to go.

I'm not sure if I would try diet pills, however if I was severely overweight then a diet pill would definitely be something that I would consider and research every aspect of the pill.

Yesterday was the first day of the year that I could venture outside in just my T-shirt and feel comfortable..... In Montreal the warm weather is finally coming.

Do you have a good bed?

I know my bed is giving me trouble. I wake up feeling groggy with a few aches and pains. So it's time for a new one eventually.

The worst thing is when you can actually feel the springs coming through onto your back. You can relieve it slightly with a matress cover but ultimately you will need a new bed.

When I finally move and settle then I may look into a really really comfy bed such as a sleep number bed.

When I was young I used to collect cool rocks and crystals whenever I was on holiday and I still have my old beaten collection stored away to go back and look at when I am old.

My girlfriend's mother has an awesome collection of rocks and they are all polished and on display. With a blacklight on them they look amazing.

I really should have a look at some rock tumblers and see if any of my old finds polish up well.

Lose Weight Before Spring....

It's that time of year to start looking at fat burner reviews again.

I think its ridiculous that a device such as a cell phone is allowed to be locked by a company. In some way this is them holding a monopoly, especially of they have exclusive rights to provide service for that particular model of cell phone. The iPhone is a big player in this recently.

One easy way around all this is getting hold of an unlocked phone. That way you can purchase a chip from any provider that will work with the cell phone and use their service.

Much more democratic I think :)

It's been cold here in Montreal so I have been keeping a keen eye on the Blockbuster New Releases as I like to keep up and watch a lot of Movies.

I love the services available from Netflix and Blockbuster Total Access but sadly being in Canada I can't use them here so I have to rent directly from the store.

I have so much going on in 2009!! My main blog TheRandomForest.com has had a nice redesign, I have relaunched FrugalZeitgeist.com and it's time to get back on with the show here on this blog.

I hope you all had a great break and that the new year is working out well. I know I have been hectically busy but things are starting to come together.

This year I plan to get a real sense of community of my flagship blogs and also I will be creating some niche marketing blogs.

I was recently eating at a local restaurant and I saw a little sign advertising for people to buy a chunk of the business and start a franchise. I fantasized about the idea for abit. I would be pretty fun to own a retail franchises, especially if you managed to make it profitable and could eventually leave it to run itself.

What kind of franchise would you like to run. A restaurant is definitely my pick.

I recently got hold of a fantastic Xbox 360. I absolutely love it! However it's making my old TV look a little shabby and I have started looking at tv deals to see how much I can pick up a decent lcd HDTV for. I love the fact that the competition has driven the prices down so quickly.

I recently took my Macbook from 1gb of laptop memory to 2gb. I must say the difference is unbelievable and with laptop memory so cheap now you have no reason not to upgrade to your maximum.

I can now run multiple high memory applications, playing video is smoother and I only wish I had done this earlier!!
