Spring is fast arriving and soon you will be able to pull off that cover and bask in glorious sunlight in and around the pool.

So it's time to make sure you have all your pool supplies for the coming season before everyone jumps in and everything sells out.

I think one essential for every pool is a floating noodle... I wish I could explain why they are so much fun :)

What kind of movies do you like to watch?

Personally I tend to like long drawn out dialogue based movies or a good action film with wit. Something like Inside Man by Spike Lee or The Machinest.

I'm really looking forward to seeing where they next take Batman.

Lose Weight Before Spring....

It's that time of year to start looking at fat burner reviews again.

It's warming up out there and the idea of being scantily dressed in my current shape bothers me so it's time to shed the winter warming podge and lose some weight.

I intend to do it mainly with swimming and dieting but there are other options for people who cannot be too active.

What are you going to do to look good and get into shape before the spring weather hits?

Hate Being Tied To One Cell Phone Provider?

I think its ridiculous that a device such as a cell phone is allowed to be locked by a company. In some way this is them holding a monopoly, especially of they have exclusive rights to provide service for that particular model of cell phone. The iPhone is a big player in this recently.

One easy way around all this is getting hold of an unlocked phone. That way you can purchase a chip from any provider that will work with the cell phone and use their service.

Much more democratic I think :)

Blockbuster New Releases

It's been cold here in Montreal so I have been keeping a keen eye on the Blockbuster New Releases as I like to keep up and watch a lot of Movies.

I love the services available from Netflix and Blockbuster Total Access but sadly being in Canada I can't use them here so I have to rent directly from the store.

When planning decorating or rearranging of a new room in the house I always think that music should be an important aspect.... So there always has to be thought to where to store the music and if a new stereo cabinet is needed.

You have to consider what kind of media you are using and if you want it hidden away or proudly on show.

Here in Montreal the snow seems like it is just about to melt. No doubt when it does many people wooden fencing will be snow, salt and ice damaged so it will be time for spring replacements.

I went to a school with a technical name but sadly it has been years since it was an actual tech school.

Going to technical training institutes is a great way to learn a technical skill and greatly advance your change of making a specific specialized career from whatever technical field you decided to go into.

These days tech schools offer countless vocations. These could range from video games design to fashion merchandising or even nursing.

What kind of watch do you like to wear?

I don't currently wear a watch, mainly because I don't have any with me here in Canada. I left my Fossil watch back in England...

I really like Fossil watches as they are good timepieces with a really cool and innovative range of design, styles and features.

For people like me who can't afford tens of thousands for a Rolex, these middle ground watches are always the best option... In fact I would feel terrible if I wasted my cash on a Rolex!!

One thing that is good about a down turning economy is the fact that companies start to jump over each other to offer us consumers great deals on their products.

And one such market that is going crazy like this now is the multi billion cell phone industry.

Best In Cell Phones is a website literally packed full of cell phones deals. Many of them are free, giving you cash back and free accessories like blue tooth headsets!

I don;t actually have a cell phone right now but looking at some of the great deals it is very tempting. I would love to get a hold of an iPhone, blackberry or Android phone, all of which are available with special deals attached!

New Look For Frugal Zeitgeist

Frugal Zeitgeist is one of my flagship blogs about living in a frugal way and like many, it had been a little neglected in recent months..... so I gave it a facelifte and will be publishing a lot of new content in the coming months.

I found a great free theme from Woo Themes and made it fit the ideals of the website.

2009 Here we come.....

I have so much going on in 2009!! My main blog TheRandomForest.com has had a nice redesign, I have relaunched FrugalZeitgeist.com and it's time to get back on with the show here on this blog.

I hope you all had a great break and that the new year is working out well. I know I have been hectically busy but things are starting to come together.

This year I plan to get a real sense of community of my flagship blogs and also I will be creating some niche marketing blogs.

Plus I am moving to Egypt :), woo hoo.

Would you own a Retail Franchise?

I was recently eating at a local restaurant and I saw a little sign advertising for people to buy a chunk of the business and start a franchise. I fantasized about the idea for abit. I would be pretty fun to own a retail franchises, especially if you managed to make it profitable and could eventually leave it to run itself.

What kind of franchise would you like to run. A restaurant is definitely my pick.

Looking for Tv Deals?

I recently got hold of a fantastic Xbox 360. I absolutely love it! However it's making my old TV look a little shabby and I have started looking at tv deals to see how much I can pick up a decent lcd HDTV for. I love the fact that the competition has driven the prices down so quickly.

Hopefully I will find that special deal very soon.
