Stuck with no connection

Why is it so mortifying to be stuck without connection?

I came into a cafe today and they want $6 and hour for the net. Obviously I said no to that but it started to make me thing about the panic of having my laptop and no connection.

SO what? I should embrace it, write short posts, do some designing, spend some time thinking or reading a real book.

I still feel a little annoyed about it and almost payed the $6 but hey I am getting around it. This should cut down some work time for the next few days when I can make sure I am connected.
