Wimbledon is on

Sadly this year I will not be getting my little paws on any Wimbledon tournament tickets as I am currently in Montreal enjoying their tennis tournament-less summer.

Luckily Wimbledon is on the TV but TV is never the same as going to a match for real. Wimbledon really is a major event for almost everyone back in my hometown of London. Many people I know have been and managed to get a seat in center court but sadly I never have.

I would love to sit at any court and when I get back to England I will definitely go some day. If you get tickets early or go through an agency they are actually pretty easy to get and much better than sitting on the grass outside.

One thing many non-English, or rather, non-Wimbledon-Attendees, are ignorant of when it comes to Wimbledon is that Strawberries and Cream are nearly as big and important as the tennis itself. Luckily for me I can get Strawberries and Cream to watch Wimbledon on the TV with, over here in Canada..... maybe I can get my room mates into the idea too?
