I love seafood

I come from England so luckily for me, whilst growing up I was never too far from the sea. I used to go to a town called Hastings, as a child and enjoyed great seafood by the sea.

Strangely my Dad lives there now so he luckily can enjoy fresh seafood all of the time.

Last time I went to visit him he made me try a pickled octopus and it was actually much nicer than you would imagine. Oh, I forgot to mention that this was a baby octopus, so you eat the whole thing in two bites.

One thing I do love to eat is Lobster. I have not had the chance to have it much in my life but I remember a particular time last summer. I was staying in Vermont and the guy who owned the house decided he wanted a BBQ and lobster. He came back with the biggest lobster I have ever seen. It cost around $100 and feed us for a week. It's juce was succulent and I can still taste it when I think about it...... mmmmmmmmmmm.

Like I said, I love seafood.

Vermont is hardly by the sea but you can get OK seafood from there.... however I just found out about a service that will deliver fresh, authentic Louisiana seafood direct to your door. The idea of this service is very alluring. They offer classic greats such as Gulf shrimp and Crawfish. Next time I am visiting Vermont I will seriously have to consider trying this service out.
