May I park here?

I have just done recently done something on a complete whim without any full research.

Usually these 'whims' of mine do not work out so I need some help and opinions from people, so I can determine if I should pursue what Is started!

I have been reading about domain name selling and parking through dnxpert.comand wanted to get involved. But of course I just get bored reading and not acting so I took a very silly plunge and purchased a batch of domain names from GoDaddy.

I have now parked these domains and am putting them up for sale.

Parking is basically re-pointing your domain name to one of them pages which are all ads, you know the annoying ones! Theoretically if someone stumbles across your page they may want to click on one and apparently that will earn me a few pennies! I have had no visits or clicks so far so I have no clue ho much it actually earns me. The page also has info letting any potential buyers know that the domain is for sale.

The domains I purchased are:
electionsection.net
fasttry.net
foreverclubbing.net
mumzcorner.com
passionatetravels.net
theecoplanet.com
timelessbritain.com
timelesstowns.com
yournewjoboffer.com
(I also purchased an Adult domain but am struggling with the ethics of it, so will not show it right now! Some of the domains are also still awaiting verification so may not be parked yet.)

I went with Sedo.com for my parking and so far they have been extremely easy to use.

I just need to work out how to get these sites visited now.

What do you think of them? Can you give me some advice?

Ah, looks like you got some good ones there! I'm surprised TimelessBritain was even for sale. That's an excellent domain to have. Very marketable.

Shine on,
Aaron

Hi, Forest!! John Motson of DNXpert.com is great, and I'm so glad you're picking up some good information from him! Congrats on the new domain! I just purchased a new domain last night - BloggingGal.com. I will be developing it to discuss blogging - tips, tricks, services, tools, etc. :) Good luck on your domain sales!!

Have a great night!

..and so you enter the fun world of domain developing and selling. It can become addictive. I have a few that I'll be developing soon for the sole purpose of selling. I'll work on them sometime next year.

OT
For some reason your comment is not letting me post my url I have to be logged into blogger?

@ Aaron. I think I may develop that one. It could so easily become a tourist site directory or blog and then be ready for selling on.

@ Tish. Thanks, I am subscribed there now and enjoy the new info.

@ Opal. I have a lot to learn, I may develop a few of them but need time! I have a few other projects on the go right now, oh and a full time day job! I don't know why the comment thing is acting like that! I will look at my settings. I want to move this blog to wordpress but am scared of losing my readers and my PR and my ability to do paid posts!

Hey Opal,

My findings seem to show that Google have limited the commenting features. I have blogged about it here:

Just wondering if you (or anyone) could Digg it, or blog about it and get the word spread. I think it is new news!
