I want to be an Extra

A few years ago whilst living in England I decided that I wanted to find out about being a film extra. I looked into it half heartedly and found out a few things but never went through the trouble of actually trying to get some work.

I now live in Montreal, for the time being, and the idea has come back to me again.

I watch so many films that have used Montreal for various scenes and also the spring / summer filming time is coming up so maybe now is the time.

A brief look online has dug up mostly crappy pay to become an extra sites but I know from my research that you should never pay.

So I will keep you updated in the coming weeks and let you know how I get along.

My best bet may be to go to the studios and ask the film companies direct.
