Mailing Lists

I am now integrating mailing lists into almost all of my blogs and plan to run exclusive content for subscribers.

This is a hard move for me as it means that I will have to take care of and cater for subscribers who are giving me their address and expecting quality in return.

What are your experiences with running mailing lists?
