Amazing technology - Minature tracking Devices

There are some very cool new implementations of GPS technology these days. From simple things like watches that track your distance (I owned one to aid with Marathon training) to the GPS driven finder and map computers that many have in their vehicles.

GPS tracking devices for business use are becoming more and more common place. GTXCorp.com have a really cool new piece of miniature GPS tracking technology. This device is the size of a matchbox and can be live tracked with Google maps. This brings the technology to an extremely user friendly level perfect for may applications.

This technology would be great for any business that needs to track it's vehicles, product deliveries or staff. I think it would be particularly ideal for keeping track of Bicycle Couriers, or in fact any courier service so that live information about location could be easily passed back to the customer.

I dn;t agree that GPS should be used to keep an eye on people and make sure they are doing their job. A big part of getting good work out of people is trusting them, so the use of such a device needs to be carefully considered.

Overall though I am excited about such technology being available and think it will streamline business and give added value to the customer.



And it will also make GPS technology much more advanced to help me with my training :)
