My first aid training is very poor, if I passed someone who needed medical help I would only know the very basics and cannot remember the correct procedure for recovery position or anything like that. Luckily I am not in a situation where it is likely I would need to be very profficient at such things. And hopefully I will not find myslef in the sticky situation of needing such qualifications anytime soon.
The National Paramedic Institute offers a range of courses including online EMT training to thougherly educate you in paramedic skills. They say that they are:

Their website is very user friendly and immediately you are guided by a virtual lady who introduces you to the site and tells you the basics. Delving further, detailed course information is easily at hand and they have some great demo videos to show you exactly why they are one of the best places to aquire and keep up to date with your paramedic skills.
