I spend too much time in bed, in fact I am sitting on my made bed now with my laptop on my lap.
I love being in bed, it's an important thing.
In my last flat I slept on a sofa bed meant for occasional use and although it wasn't too uncomftable it wasn't somewhere that I wanted to relax and stay.
Time4Sleep.co.uk has a great range of beds and when I looked through there selection of Metal Beds, wood beds, leather beds and much much more, I was immediately enamoured by the Victoria Wood, lightwood bed. This bed makes me dream about coming home from a long hard, stressful day at work. Grabbing a light bite to eat and filling my glass with fresh water. Then making my way into the bedroom, getting out of nasty work clothes and sliding under the sheets, while it's still light outside and the world outside of me is still bussling and busy.
Then chilling out and realxing, watching a documentry about a rare animal, on some obscure cable TV channel, whilst snacking on fresh red grapes.
Then when tired, turning off all the lights and nussling up to the pillows whilst I drift off to sleep.
The thing that attracts me about this bed is the cool light wood and angular modern design. Being low down reminds me of the Japanese style futons but much it's more comfy looking. Having a low bed and low furniture in your room adds space between you and the ceiling, helping to relieve that clostrophobic feeling that some rooms can give you.
Maybe it's time I get a new bed, maybe I should get this one now I have attached such a great fantasy to it!
