Nirvana

I loved and probably still love Nirvana. The sad circumstances of their lead singer Kurt Cobain is still a good warning to all wannabe rock stars but if you look into the music I think that is what should be allowed to speak for itself.

Nirvana were harmed by their popularity as much as they were helped. Cobain was apparently obsessed with and hated fame all at the same time and the thought that he was a sell out is believed by some to be a huge part of his demise.

Sadly the truth is that his demise began early on in the fame and this cannot be completely blamed. He was a drug user from early on and if this isn't curbed we all know what it leads to.

Here is a great cover of a Meat Puppets song, Lake of Fire.

Some people thought Nirvana were too commercial, what did you think?
