I don't smoke weed myself but many people I know do. So I found it hilarious to find out that the weed being smoked in the new Seth Rogan comedy Pineapple Express was actually a real weed alternative from a very well respected alternative supllier, International Oddities.
This means the guys were probably high during filming :). Seth Rogan even said in an interview that International Oddities products were used in nearly every scene of the movie.
International Oddities describe their product as a stand alone to weed and it is produced from a mixture of buds to give a pleasant high.
They hope that their products will be recognized one day for their quality and that people will not turn their noses up at them without actually knowing about them.
I guess one problem is that many people have a bad opinion of marijuana. However a legal bud could be used in many ways and one idea I like is using them to cut down on smoking tobacco, which contains a huge amount of dangerous and unnatural chemical's.
If you could switch a 20 a day smoking habit to one or two quiet smokes of legal bud every evening you would really improve your lifestyle.... and your wallet situation.

Depends on the smoker.
It can't be assumed to be an "alternative" to tobacco either.
Many tobacco smokers increase their use of the substitute (in this case legal weed) as they deal with cravings.

The weed smoke has a very low THC level, most likely below 10%. The weed you get at a club is also "legal" but is actually real weed. Most of that is mid-high quality with 15% or above.
They say in interviews that it was all fake weed, hundreds of joints of fake weed were made for the movie.
10% THC? Doubt it. 10% THC content will get you ripped. In the 60's, weed had a THC content of 3-4%, and through the years has been raised to 20-25%. Wizard weed as some may call it, is less then 1%. Do your homework man.
