Talking with some fellow co-workers, I discovered that none of them had ever heard of the Beatles song 'Free as a bird'. This prompted me to look it up right away.
This is a very beautiful song and watching it really makes me miss Liverpool. As you see when you watch it there are tons and tons of references to some of the Beatles earlier works.
'Free as a bird' started life as a John Lennon demo and was given to the remaining band in 1994 by Yoko Ono. The finished the recording as though Lennon was away on holiday and it was released as part of the Anthology album in December 1995.
It was one of 2 new Beatles song, the other being called 'Real Love'. Also another good song. In my eyes, like many others, they did very little bad music.
What is your favorite Beatles track?

Hey Jude.
Great song, maybe a little overplayed.
Ah, I can remember the very second this came out back in '95. The song was released in November and the video in December. I was in college and sooo excited to hear (and see) it.
I'm a major Beatles fan. Of course, don't forget The Doors, Zeppelin and Pink Floyd! :) Yeah, rock on! Gotta love 'em all!
Shine on,
Aaron
I forgot about this song for years but felt just as excited when it popped back into my head, randomly, the other week!
