New Look For Frugal Zeitgeist

Frugal Zeitgeist is one of my flagship blogs about living in a frugal way and like many, it had been a little neglected in recent months..... so I gave it a facelifte and will be publishing a lot of new content in the coming months.

I found a great free theme from Woo Themes and made it fit the ideals of the website.

I would love to know what you think and if you have any frugal ideas please do hit me up.

Get The Right Hosting For You...

When you finally decide to make the jump from a blog like this one (hosted on blogspot) to your own hosted blog or website (I have many) you really need to make sure you do your research and get the right hosting for you.

For me I have a reseller account on HostGator and I came to the conclusion that this was best for me through a number of comparisons..... This took me a while and I wish I had thought of using a website like Web Hosting Geeks.

One of the main reasons I choose my host was because of the great price and the fact that they are one of a handful of green hosting companies available. I am very happy with them.

Web Hosting Geeks is a hosting comparison site that does a fantastic job of putting the information you need right in front of you in a very well presented way. No BS, just the ins and outs of what each package gives you.

They also rate every host and you can browse through sections related to what you will be using the host for. Such as best blog hosting or best php hosting.

The site design is excellent, user interface is user friendly and overall I would recommend anyone looking for hosting to pay them a visit.

2009 Here we come.....

I have so much going on in 2009!! My main blog TheRandomForest.com has had a nice redesign, I have relaunched FrugalZeitgeist.com and it's time to get back on with the show here on this blog.

I hope you all had a great break and that the new year is working out well. I know I have been hectically busy but things are starting to come together.

This year I plan to get a real sense of community of my flagship blogs and also I will be creating some niche marketing blogs.

Plus I am moving to Egypt :), woo hoo.

Would you own a Retail Franchise?

I was recently eating at a local restaurant and I saw a little sign advertising for people to buy a chunk of the business and start a franchise. I fantasized about the idea for abit. I would be pretty fun to own a retail franchises, especially if you managed to make it profitable and could eventually leave it to run itself.

What kind of franchise would you like to run. A restaurant is definitely my pick.

Looking for Tv Deals?

I recently got hold of a fantastic Xbox 360. I absolutely love it! However it's making my old TV look a little shabby and I have started looking at tv deals to see how much I can pick up a decent lcd HDTV for. I love the fact that the competition has driven the prices down so quickly.

Hopefully I will find that special deal very soon.

What do you think are the best diet pills?

I have never used diet pills so as a noobie if I was to try and find the best diet pill, what would I have to look for?

I guess the first thing is feedback. The best diet pills should have respected endorsements and a consumer level price.

What diet pills have you tried using and which ones have worked well?

I say... Increase Your Laptop Memory Now!

I recently took my Macbook from 1gb of laptop memory to 2gb. I must say the difference is unbelievable and with laptop memory so cheap now you have no reason not to upgrade to your maximum.

I can now run multiple high memory applications, playing video is smoother and I only wish I had done this earlier!!
